What is MLBB MSC 2025?
MSC (Mid-Season Cup) is MLBB’s international mid-year event. It replaced the old Southeast Asia Cup format and now brings together global MLBB powerhouses for one reason: domination on the world stage.
MSC 2025 is the second time the tournament joins the Esports World Cup (EWC) festivities in Riyadh, and it’s bigger than ever.

MSC 2025 MLBB Format Explained

Wildcard Stage (July 10–13)
This is the last-chance saloon for eight hungry teams.
- They’re split into 2 groups, duking it out in a double elimination format.
- Every match is a Best of 3 (Bo3), so there’s no room for slow starts.
- The top 2 teams from each group punch their ticket to the Wildcard Playoffs.
Wildcard Playoffs:
- Single elimination–lose once, and it’s game over.
- Semis are Bo3, but the Grand Final cranks it up to Bo5.
- Only one team survives and earns a golden ticket to the Group Stage.
Group Stage (July 23–27)
This time, the real battle begins, with 16 total teams (15 direct invites + 1 Wildcard winner).
- They’re split into 2 groups of 8, and it’s another double elimination, Bo3 all the way.
- The top 4 teams from each group move on to the Knockout Stage.
- The bottom 4? Sorry, their MSC journey ends here.
Knockout Stage (July 30–Aug 2)
Only 8 remain, and now it’s do-or-die time.
- It’s a straight single-elimination bracket, no second chances.
- Every match is a Bo5, except for the Grand Final, which is a brutal Bo7.
- One team walks away as the champion. The rest are just highlights and heartbreak.
