After a delay from its original schedule, the highly anticipated region of Natlan is set to appear on the map of Teyvat in Genshin Impact! Leaks about Natlan as the newest nation in Genshin have been circulating since the live stream of version 4.7.

Natlan is the sixth nation in Genshin Impact‘s world of Teyvat, governed by the Pyro Archon, known as the “God of War” named Murata. This conflict-ridden land is also known as the Nation of Dragons, inhabited by humans, dragons, and other unique creatures.

Location of Natlan
Natlan is situated to the west of the Sumeru Desert, specifically near the Girdle of the Sand. This information was hinted at by NPC August Lovelace during the World Quest “Recollections of a Fontainian.” He mentions that Natlan is located on the other side of the Sumeru Desert.
Based on the videos released by HoYoverse, Natlan appears to be filled with forests, deserts, canyons, glaciers, mesas, and hidden lava rivers. The geographical features of Natlan were also discussed in the weapon Battle Pass “Talking Stick,” where the region is depicted as a wilderness area where dragons gather, surrounded by many volcanoes and hot springs.

Release Date of Natlan Genshin
According to various sources and by calculating the regular update schedule (every 6 weeks), Natlan Genshin is expected to be released in version 5.0 on August 28.
Before its official release, Natlan is expected to appear as a temporary map during the Summer Event, similar to the release of the Sumeru, Inazuma, and Fontaine regions.

HoYoverse has already teased several Natlan characters through various videos, including the “Ignition Teaser: A Name Forged in Flames.” Rumors suggest that these characters will be available to pull on banners from version 5.0 to 5.6.

Saurian Creatures
