At first look, this skin is a far fetch from Khaleed’s usual rugged look. So, what are all the deets on this new MLBB skin? Let’s dive in!

Khaleed’s New Looks From All Fronts

The Wave Strider Epic MLBB skin completely reimagines Khaleed’s visual identity. Gone are the dusty hues of the desert, now replaced by a refreshing wave of blues, silvers, and purples. 

• Entrance: Wave Strider has an invigorating and more confident entrance animation, shifting the player’s imagination to Khaleed’s brighter personality.
• Background: The fantasy character profile background shows mythical buildings surrounded by tall waves. It definitely gives Khaleed much more freedom of imagination in the eyes of players.
• Color Scheme: The vibrant combination of brave blue, silver, purple, and deep blue seems like a complete overhaul compared to the vanilla MLBB Khaleed skin.

Obviously, with an MLBB skin this epic, overhauls were also done to his combat animations. Moonton has outdone itself introducing the watery elements to seamlessly integrate with our favorite sand warrior.

• Passive: Previously, Khaleed’s enhanced basic attack involved dashing on the sand. With Wave Strider, he now surfs and leaves a trail of water in his paths.

• Basic Attack: The basic attack animation is more refined and elegant, with smaller wave flows following each strike. Furthermore, hitting an enemy creates a finishing effect resembling a beastly shark’s silhouette.
• Skill 1 (Desert Tornado): Khaleed’s signature sand slash now ends with a gilded, shark-head-shaped impact.
• Skill 2 (Quicksand Guard): A wave of water gathers around Khaleed’s feet when he activates this ability. Additionally, following that, a mechanical shark icon emerges from under his feet. The shark icon creates a cool and iconic new look for Khaleed.
• Ultimate (Raging Sandstorm): Khaleed now braces himself to ride a water-elemental shark during his ultimate. After which, the skill leaves a trail of raging waves in impact.

• Effect: Khaleed accumulates waves of water as he moves. His next basic attack becomes enhanced when his meter fills, dealing bonus damage and creating a slowing water pool around him.
• Best Use: Constantly move around the battlefield to fill your Desert/Water Power meter. Use the enhanced basic attack to initiate fights, slow enemies, and deal damage.

Skill 2: Quicksand Guard

• Effect: Khaleed creates a shield that absorbs damage and reduces enemy damage. Moreover, this skill regenerates a portion of his health.
• Best Use: Use Quicksand Guard when under heavy enemy fire or during teamfights to increase your rate of survival. Additionally, it’s also useful for escaping low-health situations.

Ultimate: Raging Sandstorm

• Effect: Khaleed unleashes a sandstorm (now a water storm with Wave Strider), gaining immunity to crowd control (CC) effects and stunning nearby enemies for a short time.
• Best Use: Raging Sandstorm is a powerful initiation tool. Use it to ambush-jump into the enemy team, disable them with the stun, and allow your teammates to follow up with their attacks. Also, it’s useful for chasing down enemies who are running away, especially the ones who are immune to your slows.
