Missed last year’s MLBB x KOF collaboration? You’ll get another chance soon. The MLBB x KOF Phase 1 2026 event is set to return with limited-time resale skins and a lucky draw system, giving players another opportunity to secure popular crossover skins.

Following the success of previous collaborations, Moonton is once again bringing back the King of Fighters theme, running from late January through February 2026.

Before jumping into the gacha system, it’s important to understand how the event works and what makes this phase different from previous editions.

The event launches at 3:00 PM WIB and allows players to choose between two event versions by switching the prize pool.

For the KOF ’97 banner, the prize pool is limited to three skins:

• Masha KOF
• Valir KOF

With fewer skins available, the odds of pulling a specific target skin are higher than in earlier KOF events.

The gacha follows a pattern-based system with guaranteed rewards at:

• 30 draws
• 40 draws
• 50 draws
• 60 draws

Among these milestones, 40 draws is considered the most realistic and cost-efficient target.

These skins are expected to retain their original visuals, although minor updates are still possible.

Before spending Diamonds, it helps to know the expected cost and available discounts.

A single draw costs 225 Diamonds, while the daily discounted draw costs 112 Diamonds. The first 10x draw receives a 30 percent discount, costing around 1,575 Diamonds.

On average, one KOF skin requires 7,000 to 10,000 Diamonds. By following the recommended token strategy, players can reach 40 draws using only 6 Weekly Diamond Passes.

Tips to Save Diamonds in MLBB x KOF Phase 1 2026

The MLBB x KOF Phase 1 2026 event uses a round-based gacha system combined with free tokens, which makes it surprisingly friendly for players who want to spend efficiently. With the right timing and patience, Diamond usage can be reduced significantly without lowering your chances of getting a KOF skin.

To take full advantage of this system, players need to understand the event rounds and how many free tokens are available.

The event is divided into two main rounds:

• Round 1: February 6–10, 2026, providing 16 tokens
• Round 2: February 13–17, 2026, providing 16 tokens

In addition to round rewards, extra free tokens are also distributed:

• February 8–23: 1 free token
• February 13–March 7: 2 free tokens

In total, players can collect up to 35 free tokens, which plays a major role in reducing Diamond costs.

While quest details have not been officially announced, they typically include simple tasks such as daily logins, completing matches, and spending a small amount of Diamonds.

Step-by-Step Efficient Draw Strategy

To maximize efficiency, it’s recommended to follow a structured draw plan instead of pulling randomly.

On the first day of the event, January 30, there’s no need to draw at all. Simply monitor the event and save your Diamonds. The real strategy begins once Round 1 starts.

When Round 1 begins on February 6:

• Top up 3 Weekly Diamond Passes
• Perform one daily discounted draw
• Save all Round 1 tokens and do not use them yet

On February 7:

• Perform the daily discounted draw
• Spend 26 Diamonds to complete the 250 Diamond usage quest
• Use all 16 Round 1 tokens for gacha

At this stage, players will have completed a total of 18 draws.

Managing Additional Tokens and Round 2

Between February 8 and February 12, players receive one additional free token. This token can be claimed and used at any time during the event. During this period, daily draws are not necessary, allowing Diamonds to accumulate from Weekly Diamond Pass rewards.

Round 2 begins on February 13:

• Claim the 2 additional free tokens
• Top up another 3 Weekly Diamond Passes
• Perform the daily discounted draw
• Save Round 2 tokens

On February 14:

• Perform the daily discounted draw
• Spend 26 Diamonds to complete the quest
• Use all 16 Round 2 tokens

By this point, the total draw count reaches 38.

Reaching the 40 Draw Target

To finish efficiently:

• February 15: daily discounted draw to reach 39 draws
• February 16–17: skip draws due to limited Diamonds
• February 18: daily discounted draw to reach 40 draws

Duplicate skins obtained during the event will be converted into fragments, which can later be exchanged for additional draw tickets.

With this strategy, players only need:

• 6 Weekly Diamond Passes

At 40 draws, the chance of obtaining a KOF collaboration skin is very high. If luck is not on your side and 50 draws are required, additional Diamonds will be needed.
